Instead of dragging yourself, plus pets, and maybe family to the hospital, and waiting for an appointment, our doctors come to you – on your schedule and when you need us, be that during the day, after work, or even later in the evening.

We cost a little more than your local clinic but not a lot more, in fact our prices are very competitive and shopped to resemble local pricing in most areas of Manhattan, as well as parts of Brooklyn and Queens.

SERVICE AREA
Serving Manhattan, Long Island City, Astoria, Brooklyn Heights, Williamsburg North, Park Slope, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens. Other locations considered upon request (based on our ability to serve you in a timely fashion when including travel time back and forth).

Wellness Exams

With routine examinations, Dr. Leshanski will thoroughly examine your pets. This will also ensure they stay up to date on vaccinations and other preventative care that is important for good health, like heartworm prevention and regular deworming.

Diagnostic Testing

A diagnostic test is a type of medical test performed to aid in the diagnosis or detection of disease. Diagnostic testing is a vital part of detecting health problems and being able to treat them before they worsen.

Hospice Care

Saying goodbye to loved family member is always one of hardest decisions as pet parents we have to make. Sometimes the need is obvious, but other times it’s really hard.

In-Home Euthanasia

We strive to always make our clients as comfortable as possible with pain management, fluids, and other supportive care.

Jonathan Leshanski, DVM

Dr. Jonathan Leshanski, a NYC native, founded At Home Veterinary in 1997. He was awarded his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He has worked with horses at Aquaduct and Belmont Racetracks, exotic and zoo animals at Oklahoma State University and in southeast Asia, and did internships in CT and NC in small animal and alternative medicine. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Leshanski has gathered a loyal following of thousands of pet parents whom he serves with the utmost care and compassion.
